MyFitnessPal Premium can be cancelled online via account Settings (web signups) or through Apple App Store / Google Play (app signups) — cancellation must be done on the same platform as the original purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with Premium access retained until then; you must cancel more than 24 hours before the renewal date. All purchases are final and non-refundable at MyFitnessPal's sole discretion (US users have no statutory cooling-off period; only non-US users have a 14-day right). No pause or freeze option exists.

How to cancel MyFitnessPal

  • Channels: online (self-serve), in-app
  • Official cancellation page: https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032625371-How-do-I-cancel-my-Premium-subscription-renewal
  • Pause/freeze: not offered. No pause or freeze option is offered; the only option is to cancel auto-renewal, which keeps access through the end of the current billing period.
  • Account/data deletion: Account deletion is available via app (More > Settings > Delete Account) or web (My Home > Settings > Delete Account); deletion is irreversible and removes personal data, with email systems taking up to 72 hours to stop sending. Deleting the account does NOT automatically cancel an active subscription — subscription must be cancelled separately through the original purchase platform. https://support.myfitnesspal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032622451-How-do-I-delete-or-cancel-my-account

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
