For postpaid contracts without a mandatory term, only accrued service charges are due; contracts with a fixed term (plazo forzoso) also incur an early-termination penalty and any remaining device balance. If a credit balance exists at cancellation, Movistar returns it within 5 business days; outstanding balances must be settled by the deadline on the last issued invoice. No voluntary service pause or freeze is offered to consumer subscribers.

Movistar responds within 20 business days; if admissible, deletion is effective within a further 15 business days.
