How hard is it to cancel Motion?
Motion scores 86/100 (grade A) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — among the most clearly documented cancellation policies we've scored. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Motion supports self-serve cancellation: log in at app.usemotion.com, click the gear icon, then Manage Plan > Cancel Plan, provide a reason, and confirm. Team plans are cancelled by an admin via Settings > Billing > Manage Plan > Cancel Plan, and Apple in-app purchases must be cancelled through Apple. Purchases are non-refundable and Motion is not obligated to refund payments, though it may do so at its discretion and the help docs note a first-two-weeks dissatisfaction exception. The help documentation covers reactivation but does not state an explicit data-retention or deletion window. Motion (usemotion.com) operates from the United States.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
