Last reviewed 2026-06-05 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Mint Mobile is prepaid; cancellation means turning off Auto Renewal via the website account dashboard, the Mint Mobile app, or by calling (800) 683-7392 — changes must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled renewal date. Service continues until the end of the current paid term and then lapses rather than being immediately cut off. A full refund (excluding shipping) is available within 7 calendar days of activation; after that window, no prorated refunds are issued for unused prepaid time. Unused, unactivated SIM cards may be returned within 10 days of purchase in original unopened packaging.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
