How hard is it to cancel Mighty Networks?
Mighty Networks scores 72/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email, in-app.
Hosts cancel by logging in and navigating to Admin > Mighty Billing Plan > Downgrade to Free Plan; cancellation takes effect at the next billing date and access continues through the end of the current cycle. iOS subscribers must cancel through Apple's subscription settings. Refunds are not automatic and are entirely at the Host's discretion for member plans; the Terms of Use explicitly state no refunds for unused portions when a Host cancels their own plan. No subscription billing pause is offered; a network deactivation option (content preserved, members locked out) is available on request.
How to cancel Mighty Networks
- Channels: online (self-serve), email, in-app
- Official cancellation page: https://docs.mightynetworks.com/en/articles/9140744-how-do-i-downgrade-or-cancel-my-plan
- Pause/freeze: available — Network deactivation is available on request (via Help button or [email protected]) — it makes the network inaccessible to members while preserving all content, and allows reactivation at any time. This is a network-level pause, not a billing pause; subscription charges are not suspended during deactivation.
- Refund policy: https://docs.mightynetworks.com/en/articles/9140681-what-happens-when-a-member-cancels-or-requests-a-refund
- Account/data deletion: Members can deactivate or permanently delete their account via Profile > Personal Settings > Account. Hosts delete their network via Admin > Setup > Basics. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Data subject deletion requests (for non-account holders) go to [email protected]. https://www.mightynetworks.com/privacy-policy

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
