How hard is it to cancel Memrise?
Memrise scores 67/100 (grade C) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a partially documented cancellation policy with notable gaps. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), in-app.
Memrise subscriptions can be cancelled online via Profile > Settings > Account > 'Cancel Plan', or through the Apple App Store / Google Play for mobile purchases. No notice period is required; access continues until the end of the current billing period and auto-renewal is simply turned off. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies to new Quarterly and Annual plan activations only (not Monthly plans and not renewals); monthly plans may qualify for a refund within 14 days of purchase. Refunds for app-store purchases must be requested directly from Apple or Google.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
