McFit members in Germany can cancel via the McFIT App or online self-service (both offer an in-account Kündigungsschaltfläche per §312k BGB), or by email/mail; in-studio and phone cancellation are not available. Standard 12-month contracts require 1 month notice before the end of the contract term; Flex contracts require 2 weeks notice to the end of the contract month; after the minimum term, 1 month notice applies at any time. No refund or proration policy is publicly disclosed for standard cancellations; statutory 14-day withdrawal rights apply to contracts concluded online. Membership suspension (Stilllegung) is available for up to 9 months per year on Standard contracts, pausing fees while extending the contract end date by the same number of months.

  • Pause/freeze: available, Membership suspension (Stilllegung) is available if agreed on the contract cover sheet: up to 2 months/year for Flex contracts, up to 9 months for Standard 12-month contracts. Must be requested at least 5 business days before suspension start; suspension begins on the 1st of the month (full months only). Monthly membership fee is waived during suspension; contract end date extends by the number of suspended months.
