How hard is it to cancel Maple?
Maple scores 84/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the CA — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via in_account.
Maple memberships are cancelled self-serve by turning off auto-renewal in account settings (Settings > Manage Maple > Turn off auto-renewal), with no requirement to contact support. Members keep all membership benefits until the end of the current billing period; monthly plans simply do not renew the next month, while annual plans are a year-long commitment paid monthly whose auto-renewal can be disabled anytime. Refund terms are disclosed: if the membership has been used within the first 30 days of initial purchase the fee is non-refundable, and refund eligibility considers recency of purchase/renewal and whether the membership was used. Account closure requires auto-renewal off and the membership period ended, then Close account in Settings; Maple retains data until closure. Cancellation, refund, terms, and privacy pages are all publicly documented.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
