To leave, stop topping up or port the number to a new carrier (Canada uses account number + active-line transfer, no PAC); porting auto-closes the line. If funds are insufficient on the Monthly Charge Date the service is suspended immediately, and the account is deactivated only after four consecutive suspended months. Funds added to the balance are explicitly non-refundable; unused balance carries to the next month rather than being refunded.
