How hard is it to cancel LG U+?
LG U+ scores 63/100 (grade C) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the KR — a partially documented cancellation policy with notable gaps. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), in-app, phone, in person.
LG U+ customers can cancel online via MyPage after logging in (lguplus.com/mypage/info/cancel), by phone at 114 or 1544-0010, through the U+ app, or in person at an authorized dealer. Cancellation is prorated daily (일할계산) — the cancellation date itself is excluded from the billing count, and any unused days are refunded. Early termination during a contract period triggers a penalty fee (위약금) based on the remaining contract duration and discounts received; fees are waived in cases of service failure, sustained speed deficiency, or other qualifying circumstances. Personal data is retained for up to 6 months post-cancellation for billing dispute purposes.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
