How hard is it to cancel Le Monde?

Le Monde's CGV (Article VIII) explicitly permit self-serve online cancellation directly on lemonde.fr, alongside phone, email and postal options; a registered letter is not mandatory under the official terms. Subscriptions auto-renew tacitly ('automatiquement et tacitement reconduit') for successive equivalent periods, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current contractual term and a one-month notice on price changes. A 14-day droit de retractation (Article IX) applies, with refunds issued within 14 days, but the right is expressly waivable for digital-only access that begins immediately. There is no separate refund page; refunds exist only via the retractation mechanism.
