How hard is it to cancel Kit?
Kit scores 80/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Kit (Kit, Inc., an Idaho corporation, governed by Idaho law) lets customers cancel from Billing under account Settings, with support also available through the in-app messenger or [email protected]. A cancelled account stays active until the last day of the billing period. Kit offers a 30-day refund window: any funds paid in the last 30 days can be refunded in full, but payments made more than 30 days prior are not refunded or pro-rated, and annual plans follow the same 30-day rule. Users can pause or downgrade to the free plan at any time with data retained. Kit gives at least 30 days notice before pricing changes.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
