How hard is it to cancel KeyCDN?
KeyCDN scores 74/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the CH — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
KeyCDN states the service is pay-as-you-go and can be cancelled at any time, with the customer able to terminate the agreement immediately and at any time. Because there is no committed subscription term, you stop the spend by ending usage and disabling automatic recharges: when the credit balance hits zero and auto-pay is off, KeyCDN sends three email reminders and then sets the account inactive so content delivery stops. Account credits are explicitly nonrefundable (exceptions may be granted), so unused prepaid balance is not returned.
How to cancel KeyCDN
- Channels: online (self-serve)
- Official cancellation page: https://www.keycdn.com/terms
- Pause/freeze: not offered. KeyCDN is pay-as-you-go with no fixed subscription to pause. You stop usage and let the prepaid credit run down, or disable automatic top-ups; when the credit balance reaches zero with auto-recharge off the account is set inactive and content delivery stops.
- Refund policy: https://www.keycdn.com/terms
- Account/data deletion: KeyCDN keeps billing-related data as legally required (stated as 10 years). Stopping the service halts delivery, but invoice and billing records are retained for the statutory period rather than immediately deleted.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
