How hard is it to cancel Kajabi?
Kajabi scores 79/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Kajabi subscriptions can be cancelled entirely online via Account Settings > Subscription > Change Plan > Cancel subscription (or via a direct in-app link). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, with site access continuing until that date. New customers receive a full refund within 30 days of their first charge; after that, all payments are non-refundable and no proration is issued for partially used periods. Account data is permanently deleted 90 days after termination, with reminder emails sent at 14 and 7 days prior.
How to cancel Kajabi
- Channels: online (self-serve)
- Official cancellation page: https://help.kajabi.com/en/articles/12696255-cancel-your-kajabi-account
- Pause/freeze: available — Kajabi offers a 'Parked Plan' at $29/month that pauses the account, takes the site offline (inaccessible to customers), and preserves all data and content indefinitely. No duration limit; reactivate anytime by choosing a new plan. Note: any Kajabi discounts are permanently forfeited on parking, and mid-cycle annual plans lose remaining months on reactivation.
- Account/data deletion: Customer data may be deleted 90 days after account termination. Kajabi sends reminder emails at 14 and 7 days before permanent deletion. Data cannot be recovered after the 90-day window. Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
