How hard is it to cancel Jimdo?

Jimdo scores 75/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the DE — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).

Last reviewed 2026-06-16 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Jimdo subscriptions are cancelled self-serve from the account dashboard, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current contract term. For annual plans the latest possible cancellation date is one month prior to the renewal date, so notice must be submitted at least one month before the next payment. Buyers also have a statutory 14-day right of revocation after the initial purchase under EU/German consumer law. Outside the revocation window, no partial refunds are issued for early cancellation unless covered by the Terms of Service. After cancellation the website remains available as a free website.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
