Jeevansathi (Info Edge, India) lets users cancel or revoke the auto-debit mandate at any time through the app or website, the UPI app used to pay, or SI Hub for card mandates; app-store purchases are cancelled in the respective store. Once the mandate is cancelled, no future auto-debits are processed, but the membership remains active until the end of the current billing cycle with no refund for the unused period. A separate one-time 30-Day Refund Guarantee is offered to first-time subscribers who received no interest acceptance within 30 days. No documented pause option.

How to cancel Jeevansathi

  • Channels: online (self-serve), in-app
  • Official cancellation page: https://www.jeevansathi.com/refund-and-cancellation-policy
  • Pause/freeze: not offered. Jeevansathi documents no pause/freeze; cancelling the auto-debit mandate keeps the membership active until the end of the current billing cycle with no refund for the unused period.
  • Refund policy: https://www.jeevansathi.com/refund-and-cancellation-policy
  • Account/data deletion: Cancelling the auto-debit mandate (via app/website, the UPI app used to pay, or SI Hub) stops future debits but is separate from deleting the account; uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. https://www.jeevansathi.com/refund-and-cancellation-policy

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
