How hard is it to cancel Instantly?
Instantly scores 85/100 (grade A) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — among the most clearly documented cancellation policies we've scored. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Self-serve cancellation in-app: Settings -> Billing (app.instantly.ai/app/settings/billing), select the relevant plan tab (Email Outreach, Instantly Credits, CRM, Website Visitors, Inbox Placement), scroll to bottom, click 'Cancel Plan', and confirm. For a single/only plan or Credits, the plan stays active through the end of the current billing cycle ('Cancels on [date]'); if you have multiple active subscriptions and cancel one, that plan ends immediately. DFY/Pre-warmed email accounts are cancelled automatically when the Email Outreach plan is cancelled, but separately purchased email accounts may need cancelling via Email Accounts & Domains. If dashboard access is lost, the expired page has a 'Cancel All Accounts' button. No pause option. Refunds: the Terms state ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-CANCELLABLE, with no proration for unused time. Note a discrepancy: the Terms also require 30 days' written notice before the end of the term, whereas the help-center self-serve flow takes effect at end of billing cycle. No app-store billing caveat documented (subscriptions billed directly).

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
