Self-serve: app Account / website menu -> Your Instacart+ membership -> Cancel membership. Free-trial cancellation = no charge. Annual plans get a full refund within the first 5 calendar days if no orders were placed; monthly plans are not prorated but benefits run to the cycle end. Pre-renewal charges (applied up to ~6h early) are refundable per the Instacart+ terms.

  • Pause/freeze: not offered. No pause. Cancelling stops auto-renewal; benefits continue to the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Account/data deletion: Cancelling does not delete your account or order history; account / personal-data deletion is a separate privacy request (CCPA) via Instacart (support 1-888-246-7822).
