iflix (now part of the Tencent WeTV ecosystem, sharing WeTV's payment infrastructure) still offers its own VIP membership with ad-free viewing, fast downloads and two simultaneous devices. Per the iflix Terms of Use, a monthly membership bills every 31 days and the user must cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period; cancellations typically occur through the app store or account used to subscribe. The iflix Privacy Policy retains account data for the lifetime of the account and deletes it within 30 days of an account-deletion request submitted through the Data Subject Rights form, anonymising comments/interactions unless their separate deletion is requested. Refunds are not generally offered for the current period.

How to cancel iflix

  • Channels: self-serve-online, app-store
  • Official cancellation page: https://static.wetvinfo.com/static/policyview/web/privacy_iflix_en.html
  • Pause/freeze: not offered. No subscription pause is documented; the user cancels VIP, which stops the next renewal while access runs to the end of the paid period.
  • Refund policy: https://blog.iflix.com/terms-of-use/
  • Account/data deletion: Users exercise deletion via the Data Subject Rights form (Contact section); on account deletion most personal data is deleted within 30 days, while comments/interactions are anonymised unless separate content deletion is requested. https://static.wetvinfo.com/static/policyview/web/privacy_iflix_en.html

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
