How hard is it to cancel Hostinger?
Hostinger scores 83/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Cancellation is handled entirely online via hPanel: users disable auto-renewal under Billing → Subscriptions, after which the service stays active until the expiration date and then terminates automatically. Within 30 days of purchase (or renewal), users can request an immediate refund through the Paid Invoices page, which terminates the service instantly and permanently deletes all associated data. No proration is offered after the 30-day window — disabling auto-renewal simply lets the paid term run out with no refund. Domains, domain transfers, Google Workspace, cryptocurrency purchases, and several add-ons are explicitly excluded from the refund policy.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
