HelloTalk VIP and course subscriptions can only be cancelled through the respective mobile app store, iOS App Store (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions) or Google Play (Subscriptions and Services > Manage). Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period to prevent automatic renewal; the subscription remains active until the period ends with no pro-rated refund. HelloTalk does not process refunds directly; users must request refunds through their payment platform (Apple, Google Play, WeChat, or AliPay), and subscription cancellation is required before submitting any refund request.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
