How hard is it to cancel Harbor Compliance?

Harbor Compliance scores 56/100 (grade C) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US, a partially documented cancellation policy with notable gaps. Cancellation is available via written_notice, email.

Last reviewed 2026-07-20 · Documented-Policy tier · grade C

Cancellation is by written notice of non-renewal only: 'You may terminate such Subscription Service by providing us with timely written notice of non-renewal in accordance with Section 22 (Term).' The deadline is the longest seen in this category - the subscription renews unless 'either party gives the other notice of non-renewal of the Subscription Services at least 90 days prior to the expiration of the then-current Subscription Term' - so a customer must act three months ahead or pay for another full year. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term, never immediately. Fees are not returned: 'As a general policy, and unless otherwise required by applicable law or specifically stated in this Agreement, all Fees paid for the Services are non-refundable', with undisbursed fees held as account credit rather than refunded. No self-serve cancel path and no dedicated cancellation page are published.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
