Green Flag breakdown cover is cancelled by phone (0345 246 1558) or via live chat; there is no online self-service cancel button. The first 14 days are a cooling-off period with a full refund. Outside cooling-off, if no breakdown has been called out you get a pro-rata refund of premium for the remaining time, but may pay an administration fee unless your policy number begins GF-POL. If you have notified a breakdown, you can still cancel but get no refund of premium or arrangement/admin fee. Auto-renewal is chosen at purchase and can be changed any time during the policy by contacting Green Flag; renewal notices go out about a month before the policy end date.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
