How hard is it to cancel Google Nest Aware?

Nest Aware subscriptions bought directly from Google are cancelled in the Google Store or the Google Home app (tap Nest Aware, Manage Subscription, Cancel subscription); subscriptions bought from a partner must be cancelled through that partner. Unless prepaid, a prorated refund applies from the day after cancellation to the end of the billing period, and all video history and settings are erased.
