How hard is it to cancel Good Energy?
Good Energy scores 70/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the GB — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), phone, email.
Good Energy's Domestic Principal Terms state you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you sign up to the new tariff, during which you may notify Good Energy that you wish to cancel the contract. On a fixed tariff, if after the cooling-off period you switch to another supplier more than 49 days before the contract end, Good Energy may charge an Early Termination Fee detailed in your Tariff Information Label. If you move home, Good Energy ends the contract and produces a final bill within 42 days. Switching is initiated by your new supplier under Ofgem's switching rules.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
