How hard is it to cancel Gelato?
Gelato scores 79/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Cancel Gelato+ anytime online via the Dashboard: click your initials (upper right) → Subscriptions → three-dots menu on the subscription tile → Cancel Plan. Upon confirming, you receive a cancellation date and retain full Gelato+ features until that date (end of billing period). Subscription fees are non-refundable; exception: if Gelato terminates the subscription at its discretion, a prorated refund is issued for remaining days. No notice period required by the customer — cancellation is effective at period end. Free (no-subscription) tier remains available after cancellation, but Gelato+ apps are uninstalled.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
