How hard is it to cancel G DATA?
G DATA scores 68/100 (grade C) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a partially documented cancellation policy with notable gaps. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email, postal mail.
G DATA subscriptions can be cancelled online through the My G DATA portal (login > My Contract > Cancel contract), or by submitting a written notice via email to [email protected] or by mail. For recurring subscriptions, cancellation notice must be submitted at least 30 days before the contract end date to prevent automatic renewal. A 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the date of purchase for a full refund (processed within 14 days), but this right expires for digital products once the consumer has consented to early performance commencement. No pause/freeze option is offered.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
