How hard is it to cancel Flodesk?

Flodesk scores 78/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email.

Last reviewed 2026-06-06 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Flodesk subscriptions can be cancelled online via Account Settings > Plan + billing by clicking 'Cancel or Downgrade' and following the prompts; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, after which the account downgrades to the free plan with all content preserved. No refunds are issued for self-initiated cancellations; prorated refunds of prepaid fees are only available if Flodesk itself terminates the account without cause. There is no pause or freeze option — downgrading to a lower tier is the only alternative. Permanent account and data deletion requires emailing [email protected] and is irreversible.

How to cancel Flodesk

  • Channels: online (self-serve), email
  • Official cancellation page: https://help.flodesk.com/en/articles/3661405-cancel-your-subscription
  • Pause/freeze: not offered. No pause or freeze option is offered. Flodesk suggests downgrading to a lower plan or to the free plan as an alternative to full cancellation.
  • Account/data deletion: Account deletion is not self-serve. Users must email [email protected] to request permanent deletion. Deletion is irreversible and erases all emails, workflows, forms, subscribers, and analytics. The Terms of Service note that Flodesk may permanently delete account data once termination is effective. https://help.flodesk.com/en/articles/3661405-cancel-your-subscription

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
