FitX members in Germany can cancel online via the Selfservice portal (website or app) using a dedicated 'Vertrag kündigen' button, compliant with the §312k BGB Kündigungsbutton requirement; cancellation is also accepted by email or post. For contracts signed after 01.03.2022, the notice period is 1 month to the end of the 12-month base term; after the base term, the contract runs month-to-month and can be cancelled at any time with 1 month's notice. No refund or proration is offered — fees remain due through the end of the notice period even after a cancellation is lodged. FitX explicitly states that the member must continue paying contributions until the contract legally ends.

  • Channels: online (self-serve), in-app, email, postal mail

  • Pause/freeze: available — Members can pause (Ruhezeit) up to 6 full calendar months per contract year via the app or Selfservice portal. No fees are charged during the pause; the contract end date extends by the number of paused months. Must be requested at least 6 days before it begins; only full calendar months can be paused.
  • Account/data deletion: Data deletion requests must be submitted to FitX's Data Protection Officer at [email protected]. Privacy policy states deletion will be carried out without delay subject to legal retention obligations. https://www.fitx.de/unternehmen/datenschutz
