How hard is it to cancel Final Fantasy XIV?

Subscribers cancel online through the Mog Station portal (mogstation.com) by logging in, selecting Service Account Status, and choosing Cancel Subscription — the only supported cancellation channel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle, so players retain full access for remaining prepaid days. Square Enix explicitly states no refunds are issued on subscription fees; the only exception is accidental charges during the free trial period. Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox subscribers must cancel through those respective platforms instead.
