How hard is it to cancel Evernote?
Evernote scores 82/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Evernote subscriptions can be cancelled online at any time via the Billing page in Account Settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which the account reverts to the Free tier with no data loss. Refunds are available for monthly plans if requested within 20 days of payment, and for annual plans within 60 days of payment; no prorated refunds are issued after a new billing cycle begins. There is no pause or freeze option. Account closure and data deletion are self-serve and irreversible through Account Settings.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
