How hard is it to cancel ESPN+?

ESPN+ subscriptions can be cancelled online via the ESPN billing portal or through the app; third-party subscribers (Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon) must cancel through those platforms. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, with access continuing until that date. ESPN does not offer refunds or credits for partially used billing periods. No pause or freeze option exists.

How to cancel ESPN+

• Pause/freeze: not offered. ESPN+ does not offer a pause or freeze option; the only alternative is to cancel and retain access through the end of the current billing cycle.
• Account/data deletion: ESPN account deletion (distinct from subscription cancellation) is available at any time after canceling the subscription; it deletes name and email, anonymizes remaining account data, and unsubscribes from marketing emails, but does not cancel any active subscription.
