ENMAX (Alberta) customers can move, transfer, or close their electricity and natural-gas account online by signing in to MyAccount and using Manage my services > Moving, or by phone on 310-2010 (310-4010 for moving, or 1-877-571-7111 outside Alberta). ENMAX advises contacting them at least one month before the possession date, and provides move-in/move-out dates plus the new address; there is no charge to set up energy at a new address. The Easymax plan is month-to-month style with a fixed rate and can be cancelled within 30 days without penalty per its General Terms and Conditions; fixed-term retail contracts should be reviewed for any early-exit provisions. When switching retailers in Alberta supply normally transfers rather than disconnecting. A final bill is issued based on the move-out meter read.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
