How hard is it to cancel Emma?
Emma scores 78/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the GB — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email.
Emma offers a free Basic tier plus paid Emma Plus, Pro and Ultimate plans (from ~£4.99/month, monthly or annual). Cancellation is in-app and self-serve: open the Feed, select your profile, tap the plan tile (e.g. Emma Pro), tap Manage, then Change Plan and select Basic. The downgrade keeps paid access until it expires and the free version remains usable afterward. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the billing period ends. Refunds on already-charged upgrades are handled via a separate refund process rather than the standard downgrade, and no fixed notice period is stated.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
