El Mundo's official help center states a subscriber can cancel Premium self-serve at any time: 'Podras cancelar tu suscripcion en cualquier momento desde tu area privada, en el apartado Mis suscripciones pinchando en Cancelar suscripcion.' Cancellation takes effect at the end of the contracted billing period. Subscriptions taken through Apple Store or Google Play must be cancelled in those stores, where the El Mundo cancel option is unavailable. Monthly plans renew automatically (renovacion automatica) each period. The Spanish/EU statutory 14-day derecho de desistimiento applies to distance digital purchases. Note: the 'Desactivar o cancelar' account-deletion path unregisters the Elmundo.es account but does not cancel the Premium subscription.
