Last reviewed 2026-06-10 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Super Duolingo can be cancelled anytime online (via duolingo.com account settings > Subscription tab > Cancel subscription), through the iOS App Store (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Duolingo > Cancel), or via Google Play (Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Duolingo > Cancel). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — Super features remain active until then. No refunds or proration are provided for partially used periods; all payments are nonrefundable unless local law requires otherwise. For App Store/Google Play purchases, refunds are handled by Apple/Google respectively. Deleting the app or account does NOT cancel the subscription — explicit cancellation is required.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
