How hard is it to cancel DirecTV Stream?

DirecTV Stream can be cancelled online by signing into your account, going to Manage my TV Subscription, and selecting Cancel my subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing cycle (no immediate cutoff). A full refund is available only if cancelled within 14 days of purchase; after that, no refund or credit is issued for any partial-month period or unwatched content. Customers on a 2-year contract face an Early Termination Fee of up to $480 (prorated at $20/month remaining).
