Z+ digital subscribers can cancel online via the mandatory Kündigungsbutton at premium.zeit.de/abo-kuendigen (required under §312k BGB since July 2022), or by email to [email protected] / [email protected], by phone at 040 42 23 70 70, or by written mail to DPV Deutscher Pressevertrieb GmbH, Am Baumwall 11, 20459 Hamburg. The notice period for digital contracts concluded after 1 March 2022 is 1 month; older contracts had a 3-month notice period to the end of the contract period. Pre-paid amounts are refunded pro-rata for unused periods; a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal applies to online purchases. The online cancellation button exists but is noted by users as not prominently positioned — phone cancellation is listed first on the page.
