How hard is it to cancel Descript?

Descript subscriptions are cancelled entirely online via Settings > Plan > Change plan > Downgrade to Free; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle with no proration. A refund can be requested within 48 hours of an invoice date by contacting support; beyond that window no refund is issued. Subscription pause (1–3+ months) is available as an alternative to full cancellation. Deleting an account is a separate action from cancelling and does not itself trigger a refund.
