Cursor subscriptions are cancelled online via the dashboard (Settings > Billing and Invoices > Manage Subscription > Cancel Subscription), or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation must be received at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period; access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which the account reverts to the free Hobby plan. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law; refunds are reviewed case-by-case by support, and Teams seat proration adjustments appear as credits on future invoices rather than cash refunds. No pause or freeze option exists.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
