Last reviewed 2026-06-05 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Credit Sesame premium subscriptions can be cancelled online via Profile > Premium Plan on the web or mobile-web, through the mobile app settings, or via the relevant App Store/Play Store if subscribed through in-app billing; users can also email [email protected] to request early termination before the billing period ends. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — the subscription remains active through that period, and a final charge is processed on the last day of the cycle even after cancellation is initiated. No refunds or proration are offered; the final charge occurs regardless of when in the billing period the cancellation is made. Cancelling a premium plan does not affect the free Credit Sesame membership, which must be separately terminated via Profile > Terminate.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
