How hard is it to cancel Creatomate?
Creatomate scores 92/100 (grade A) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — among the most clearly documented cancellation policies we've scored. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email.
Self-serve cancellation: in Account Settings, click the menu icon then 'Cancel subscription'. Cancellation takes effect after the current billing cycle ends and you are not charged again; you retain account access and credits until the cycle concludes. You can also cancel by emailing [email protected]. No refund is issued for the current paid period, but refunds may be granted case-by-case at Creatomate's discretion: only for the most recent payment, only if the account wasn't used in the meantime, and a refund may not be possible if too much time has passed. If you forgot to cancel, contact support within 14 days of the transaction. Plan changes (upgrade/downgrade/cancel) are managed from the dashboard; downgrades take effect the following month. No third-party app-store billing caveats apply (billed directly via the web dashboard).

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
