How hard is it to cancel ConvertKit (Kit)?
ConvertKit (Kit) scores 73/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US, a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Cancellation is self-service online via Settings > Account & Billing > Account Deletion; the account remains active through the end of the current billing period. Kit offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund window, any payments made within the last 30 days can be refunded in full upon request, but no refunds are issued beyond that window. There is no formal paid-plan pause, but users can downgrade to the free tier at any time with data preserved. Annual plan holders are subject to the same 30-day refund cap with no pro-rated refund for remaining months.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights, scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
