ClickUp scores 75/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).

Last reviewed 2026-06-05 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Cancellation is self-serve online only: navigate to Settings > Billing > Downgrade or Cancel plan (owner/admin role required); the plan downgrades to Free Forever at the end of the current billing cycle. Annual plan subscribers must give at least 30 days' notice before their renewal date or the plan auto-renews for another 12 months; no equivalent notice period is stated for monthly plans. A 30-day satisfaction guarantee applies to first-time purchases only — renewals, sales-rep purchases, and post-trial upgrades are explicitly excluded, and all other fees are non-refundable with no proration. There is no documented pause or freeze option.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
