How hard is it to cancel Claro Colombia?

Claro Colombia scores 50/100 (grade D) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the CO — a poorly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via phone, in person, in-app, online (self-serve), email.

Last reviewed 2026-06-06 · Documented-Policy tier · grade D

Claro Colombia customers can request service cancellation by phone (*611, 601-750-0500, or 018000-320200), via WhatsApp (311 200 0000), through the Mi Claro App, or in person at a service center. If the cancellation request is submitted at least 3 business days before the billing cutoff date, termination takes effect on that billing date; requests made with fewer than 3 business days' notice roll to the next billing cycle. Customers with an active permanence (minimum-stay) clause may cancel at any time but remain liable for early-termination charges proportional to the remaining commitment period, unless a regulatory exemption applies. A right of withdrawal (derecho de retracto) of 5 business days applies to equipment purchases, with refunds issued within 30 days.

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
