How hard is it to cancel ChatGPT Plus?

ChatGPT Plus can be cancelled online via chatgpt.com (Settings > Billing > Cancel plan) or through the relevant app store if subscribed via iOS or Android. Cancellation takes effect the day after the next billing date, so subscribers retain access through the end of the paid period; cancelling at least 24 hours before the renewal date is required to avoid the next charge. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, though EU, UK, and Turkey residents may request a prorated refund within 14 days of purchase via the in-product chat widget. No pause or freeze option exists.
