How hard is it to cancel Bubble?
Bubble scores 77/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve).
Bubble subscriptions can be canceled at any time via the app editor (Settings > My Plan > Cancel Plan) or through the in-app support chat bot. The plan remains active through the end of the current billing cycle with no refund for unused time. All subscription charges are explicitly non-refundable, including free trials that have converted to paid plans. There is no pause/freeze option; the closest alternative is downgrading to the free tier.
How to cancel Bubble
- Channels: online (self-serve)
- Official cancellation page: https://manual.bubble.io/account-and-marketplace/account-and-billing/pricing-plans/plans-and-billing
- Pause/freeze: not offered. No pause or freeze option is offered. Users can downgrade to the free plan, which keeps the app active at reduced capacity, but there is no formal billing pause.
- Account/data deletion: Deleting your Bubble account removes personal data (email, usage history, etc.), but does NOT automatically delete apps or their databases. Users must manually delete each app before deleting the account to ensure full data removal. https://manual.bubble.io/account-and-marketplace/account-and-billing/account-management

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
