How hard is it to cancel BritBox?
BritBox scores 83/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the GB — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via self-serve-online, app-store, third-party-billing.
BritBox UK is cancelled self-serve from the website by signing in, opening Account Settings / Subscription & billing, and selecting Cancel subscription; cancellation cannot be done from the smart TV or mobile apps. If signed up through a third party (Apple, Amazon, a TV provider), the subscriber must cancel through that channel instead. There is no notice period beyond the current cycle: access continues until the end of the already-paid billing period and no further charge is taken. BritBox does not issue refunds or pro-rated credit for the unused part of a billing period. The BritBox UK privacy notice (operated by ITV) documents data-subject rights including erasure and provides [email protected] for requests.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
