How hard is it to cancel Brightside Health?
Brightside Health scores 74/100 (grade B) for how clearly it documents cancellation in the US — a clearly documented cancellation policy. Cancellation is available via online (self-serve), email.
Members can cancel online via Settings > Manage Plan > Cancel My [Medication/Therapy] Plan in the Brightside Portal, or by emailing Member Services. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period with no refund for the remaining period. For psychiatry plans, a full refund is available only if cancelled at least 24 hours before the first scheduled consultation; after that point the purchase is final. All therapy subscription payments are explicitly non-refundable, with a narrow exception for individually purchased extra video sessions.

Scope & fairness
This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
