Last reviewed 2026-06-10 · Documented-Policy tier · grade B

Brave Premium subscriptions (Leo, VPN, Talk, Search) are cancelled online at account.brave.com by clicking 'Cancel plan' under the relevant subscription. Mobile subscribers cancel via Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then. All transactions are final and fees are non-refundable, with a narrow exception: if technical problems prevent or unreasonably delay access, a refund can be requested by contacting [email protected]. No pausing is available. Subscriptions purchased through app stores are governed by the respective platform's refund policy.

How to cancel Brave

  • Channels: online (self-serve), in-app

Scope & fairness

This is the Documented-Policy tier: it measures how clearly the cancellation policy is published (cited, dated facts), not the behavioural experience of cancelling (Verified-Flow audit pending). Every company is scored on the same five dimensions with the same published weights — scores cannot be bought or removed. It is opinion grounded in disclosed facts, and not legal advice.
